Terrorizer is an American grindcore and death metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1986. Known for their fast, aggressive style and politically charged themes, they are considered pioneers of grindcore. Their debut album World Downfall (1989) is regarded as a genre classic. Although the band disbanded shortly after its release, they later reformed and continued to release new music, influencing many extreme metal bands worldwide.
