Priority Records is an American record label founded in 1985 by Bryan Turner, Mark Cerami, and Steve Drath. It became a major force in hip-hop during the late 1980s and 1990s, distributing and promoting artists like N.W.A, Ice Cube, and Eazy-E. Known for its independent approach, the label partnered with Ruthless and No Limit Records. It later became part of Capitol Music Group under Universal Music Group.
