The La’s are an English indie‑pop/rock band from Liverpool, formed in 1983/84 around frontman Lee Mavers and bassist John Power. After early singles like “Way Out” (1987), they issued their only studio album The La’s in October 1990, featuring “There She Goes,” “Timeless Melody” and “Feelin’”. They disbanded in 1992 but reunited briefly in 1994–95, 2005 and 2011, releasing several compilations of demos and sessions.
