Pulp is a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 1978 by frontman Jarvis Cocker. They gained widespread fame in the 1990s as part of the Britpop movement with albums like His ’n’ Hers (1994) and Different Class (1995), which included the hit “Common People.” Known for their witty lyrics and social commentary, the band went on hiatus in 2002 and has reunited for tours since.
